Flying By - Billy Ray Cyrus

order-now-red[1]

The Story*-

A real estate developer attends his 25th high school reunion without his wife. He quickly greets the adolescent life he once had when he finds his old teenage band playing on stage. They pull him on stage and it’s as if he’d never stopped playing with them. Later they convince him to come to a rehearsal.

His wife is not enthusiastic, but his daughter thinks it’s kind of cool. His Mother, who lives in a retirement home, encourages him to live the life he wants while he can. His decision to play brings some personal satisfaction, but the pressures of his business and marriage continue to mount.

When the band’s first performance proves successful, it leads to a last minute booking to open for a reunion tour, with the possibility of additional tour dates, but things within the band become tense.

Faced with a tough decision, where dreams collide with life, he must consider the effects on his marriage, his family,  his daughter, and his business.

Cast*-

“Flying By” stars Billy Ray Cyrus and Heather Locklear, and follows the story of a real estate entrepreneur, played by Cyrus, who is presented with an opportunity to chase his real dream… music.  Locklear plays Cyrus’s not so understanding wife, and the scenes between these two veteran entertainers are “electric”. The cast is rounded out by Olesya Rulin (High School Musical 1, 2 &3) who plays the couple’s daughter, and Academy Award winner Patricia Neal, as Cyrus’ mother (ironically, both are Kentuckians). David Zayas (Dexter) and Robert Gossett (The Closer) are among the supporting cast.
